Our 8th year of monitoring the Federally listed Schaus’ Swallowtail has begun. We conduct these surveys for 3 months; April, May and June. It’s not too hot yet so the walks are pleasant. If you are interested in joining us, contact Scott Tedford, District Biologist of Parks District 5, Florida State Park Service:
We usually meet at 9 am, walk the beautiful trails of North Key Largo and finish around 12 or 1. Wear mosquito protection, hat and sunscreen. Bring water and light snacks. Come join the fun!
