Immatures: Monk Sk. 1 caterpillar (on Cocothrinax argentata), Echo Moth ‘Seiratctia echo’ 12 caterpillars (on Coontie Zamia integrifolia, on Running Oak Quercus pumila), Pannaria Wave Moth ‘Leptostales pannaria’ 1 caterpillar.

Shark Valley, Everglades National Park, FL. Yr. 17, 25.6667°, -80.6750°, center at gauging station of SFWD L-67 at 6.5 mil south of U.S. 41. See 2006 report for habitats. Habitat changes since last year: L67 South levee was filled in removing the “wet meadow”. We were unable to access Chekika (ENP) because of locked gates.

Field Notes: We had unusually high winds making it difficult to photograph Butterflies.1Rare sighting, rare high number for this location.
