White Checkered-Skipper

Pyrgus albescens, the white checkered skipper, is a species of skipper. It is found on low altitudes in southern California, southern Arizona, southern New Mexico, west and south Texas, Florida and Mexico. A rare stray to southwest Utah and central Texas. The wingspan is 25–38 mm.
