Tenth Annual Holiday Picnic

Bring family, nature-loving friends, your favorite dish, and your own plate, utensils and napkins.
You may bring beer and wine. Water will be supplied. Cash donations are also possible.

Directions: From US1, turn east on SW 72 Street /Sunset Drive, go past Red Road to SW 55 Ave., turn right and another immediate right into parking lot behind a chain link fence.
Parking: Limited free on-site parking via our 55th Avenue gate and along 56 Avenue; metered parking on Sunset Drive; various garage and valet parking options within one to three blocks; Metrorail service to South Miami Station, a short walk away. Try to come on time in case the Parade of Elves is the same afternoon.
After lunch take an easy nature walk through the pineland and hammock trails on site. Bring your binoculars for bird and butterfly spotting!
While here, also be sure to take a look at the newly nationally designated historic Doc Thomas House built in 1932, that is used as the Tropical Audubon Society headquarters.
