Come join us on our annual Loop Road/Pinecrest NABA Count on Saturday July 20th, 2024.
There will be two teams, meeting at different starting points this year, as follows.
Team #1, led by Dennis Olle will meet at the Oasis Visitors Center (52105 Tamiami Trail) at 8:45 am. The team will then work their way East, making several stops including Clyde Butcher’s Big Cypress Gallery, Midway Campground and Collier/Dade Jetport, ending up at the 40-mile bend. Team #2, led by Linda Evans will rally at the eastern end of Loop Road, at the 40-mile bend (near the artesian well just off US 41, Tamiami Trail, SW 8th Street) meeting at 8:30 am and venture South. To register please contact Linda Evans at lmemia@aol.com .

Make sure to dress appropriately for the environment, bring mosquito spray, sunscreen, water and a lunch.

Professionals, casual butterfly enthusiasts, photographers, children of all ages, experience in identifying butterflies NOT required. Come for all or part of the day, walk along with the experts and see our South Florida Butterflies in their native environments.
