bio: Volunteer for Dagny Johnson Key Largo Hammock Botanical State Park and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park 2007-present with over 10,000 hours, volunteer for Crocodile Lake NWR 2014-present, self-taught naturalist (with lots of help), volunteer in Long Key State Park, Curry Hammock and Bahia Honda SP doing shorebird surveys and restoration plantings. I also work with endangered plant species at the nursery in JPCRSP and lead  scientists and interns to locations within Dagny and JP in process of learning about rare and endangered plant species. I give bi-monthly walks and talks for the Village of Islamorada and weekly walks in J Pennekamp trails through subtropical hardwood hammocks.

“My goal is to increase my knowledge of the flora and fauna of the Florida Keys and Everglades National Park and to share it with the general public through walks and talks to increase responsible stewardship of our natural resources.”
