2026 Native Plant Day
The Dade Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society (DCFNPS) invites you to its 28th Native Plant Day
Their annual public outreach and education day will have activities for all ages. There will be speaker programs including our Dennis Olle and Barbara McAdam, guided nature walks, children’s activities, raffles, book sales, and displays by environmentally friendly groups including our Miami Blue Chapter, along with a great selection of native plants for sale.
Native Plant Day is a low-key event designed to engage the community by sharing the many benefits of native plants and the significant role they play in our SE Florida ecosystems. Learn about South Florida native plants, insects, wildlife, attracting birds and butterflies to your yard, landscaping, natural areas, the environment, and more. Over 500 people have attended this event in the past.
