Larry & Penny Thompson Memorial Park – Butterfly Walk

Come join us on Sunday, March 29th at 9:00 am to noon, while we hunt for the rare Florida Duskywing in the Larry and Penny Thompson Memorial Park and Campground.

We will meet at 9:00 am in the parking area on SW 127th Avenue, just North of SW 184th Street. (If traveling West on 184th St, you will turn right onto 127th Ave, and the parking area will be on your left.)

Linda Evans will be leading the walk. Please register with Linda at lmemia@aol.com if you will be joining us on the hunt for the Florida Duskywing. The group will go for Lunch afterwards.

Make sure to dress appropriately for the environment, bring mosquito spray, sunscreen, and  water.

Professionals, casual butterfly enthusiasts, photographers, children of all ages, experience in identifying butterflies NOT required. Come for all or part of the day, walk along with the experts and see our South Florida Butterflies in their native environments.
