Barbara Lynn McAdam

Native Trees of South Florida that are also larval host plants for our butterflies.”

Bio: Miami Blue board member Barbara McAdam has been with the University of Florida/IFAS/Extension Miami-Dade County Office since 2006, after completing the Master Gardener program offered by the University of Florida. As part of an expanded six-person team teaching Florida-Friendly Landscaping Principles, she believes plant knowledge is key, and grows many native plants at the Extension nursery. These plants support pollinators and are shared at public workshops and used for school and park projects. She also does the Rain Barrel/Water Conservation Workshop each month.
