Loop Road NABA Butterfly Count 2024

Come join us on our annual Loop Road/Pinecrest NABA Count on Saturday July 20th, 2024.
Everyone will rally at the eastern end of Loop Road, at the 40-mile bend (near the artesian well just off US 41, Tamiami Trail, SW 8th Street) meeting at 8:30 am where we will split up into two teams.

Team #1, led by Dennis Olle will venture North. To register please contact Dennis Olle at DennisOlle@me.com .
Team #2, led by Linda Evans will venture South. To register please contact Linda Evans at lmemia@aol.com .
Both teams will end up at the Oasis Visitors Center doing that area together, finishing around 3:30-4:00 pm.
Make sure to dress appropriately for the environment, bring mosquito spray, sunscreen, water and a lunch.

Professionals, casual butterfly enthusiasts, photographers, children of all ages, experience in identifying butterflies NOT required. Come for all or part of the day, walk along with the experts and see our South Florida Butterflies in their native environments.
