Shark Valley 1st NABA Butterfly Count 2024

Join us for our 1st Shark Valley NABA count on Saturday May 11th, 2024. There will be two teams covering our Shark Valley circle.
Team #1 will meet at the Shark Valley Visitors Center at 9:00 am and will cover both sides of the park, then proceed east on US 41 (Tamiami Trail), finishing around 1:00 pm. To sign up, please contact Linda Evans at lmemia@aol.com .
Team #2 will meet on US 41 at the L67 canal “pump station” at 9:00 am, approximately five miles east of the Shark Valley Visitors Center entrance, finishing around 3:30-4:00 pm. To sign up please contact Dennis Olle at DennisOlle@me.com.
Make sure to dress appropriately for the environment, bring mosquito spray, sunscreen, water and a lunch.

Professionals, casual butterfly enthusiasts, photographers, children of all ages, experience in identifying butterflies NOT required. Come for all or part of the day, walk along with the experts and see our South Florida Butterflies in their native environments.
