Moss Cultural Arts Center)\, 10905 SW 211th Street\, Miami\, 33189\nWhat breaks up strong wind\, absorbs floodwaters\, cools your house/neighborhood and fights global warming? Trees! \nThe Division of Environmental Resources Management will be giving FREE trees to the community through its popular Adopt-a-Tree program. Residents eligible to adopt trees will be able to choose from Jackfruit\, Carambola\, Locustberry\, Jamaican Caper\, Crabwood and Firebush.\n\nPre-register today to select tree preferences and save time. Trees are still on a first-come\, first-served basis. While saving significant time\, pre-registration does not guarantee trees or tree preferences if supplies run out. If you have pre-registered for a previous event and were unable to attend\, you are still eligible to pre-register for this event and adopt your two trees.\nFor complete rules or more information\, call 311 or visit us online.\nAlso\, at this event\, the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department will be exchanging high-efficiency showerheads and up to three energy-efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs absolutely FREE for those residents who bring their old showerheads and incandescent light bulbs to the event (while supplies last).
