SUMMARY:Shark Valley 1st NABA Butterfly Count 2024
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 1st Shark Valley NABA count on Saturday May 11th\, 2024. There will be two teams covering our Shark Valley circle. \nTeam #1 will meet at the Shark Valley Visitors Center at 9:00 am and will cover both sides of the park\, then proceed east on US 41 (Tamiami Trail)\, finishing around 1:00 pm. To sign up\, please contact Linda Evans at lmemia@aol.com . \nTeam #2 will meet on US 41 at the L67 canal “pump station” at 9:00 am\, approximately five miles east of the Shark Valley Visitors Center entrance\, finishing around 3:30-4:00 pm. To sign up please contact Dennis Olle at DennisOlle@me.com. \nMake sure to dress appropriately for the environment\, bring mosquito spray\, sunscreen\, water and a lunch. \n* * OPEN TO ALL – EXPERIENCE NOT NEEDED * *\nProfessionals\, casual butterfly enthusiasts\, photographers\, children of all ages\, experience in identifying butterflies NOT required.
