SUMMARY:Field trip to Key Largo with Marc Minno\, Ph.D.
DESCRIPTION:If you have not visited the hammock in Key Largo\, this is your opportunity to walk with book author and entomologist\, Marc Minno\, Ph.D. and the Miami Blue Chapter.  We will meet at the intersection of Card Sound Road and state road 905 at 9 am on Sat. August 6.  Bring a hat\, wear long sleeves and pants\, bug spray (yes\, there will likely be mosquitoes)\, lots of water\, a bag lunch and binoculars if you have them.  We expect to be there from about 9 am to 1 pm. \nIMPORTANT:  Contact Linda Evans @ lmemia@aol.com so that we can add your name to the permits at least two weeks in advance of our trip.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to report that our August meeting speaker  at Castellow Hammock will be Marc Minno\, PhD.\, UF.  The topic of his presentation will be “The Butterflies of Cuba”. Marc has been to Cuba many times and will discuss their butterflies\, many of them similar to our South Florida species. We meet at 1 pm\, but come early to scout out the butterflies in their butterfly garden and hammock. Details to follow.
