SUMMARY:Butterfly and Bird Day for Kids. Cancelled due to hurricane Irma
DESCRIPTION:Sadly\, it is necessary to cancel this event due to hurricane Irma.  Castellow Hammock is closed due extensive tree damage.  We hope to reschedule this next year. \nThis year\, Butterfly and Bird Kids Day programs\, walks\, and displays will be just for kids and their accompanying adults. Save the date! \nPlans are well underway for this event with the staff at Castellow Hammock\, County staff and Miami Blue Chapter members.  We are excited to announce many children’s activities are being planned. Programs are being  developed to introduce children to nature with all it’s wonders.  Games\, face painting\, walks\, children’s story time and much more. \nWe will need members and volunteers to help introduce children to butterflies\, birds\, and the pleasures of nature. So plan to attend\, with or without a young person. \nA bird walk is planned for 7:30 am.  Programs will begin at 9:30. \nDetails coming soon.
