Election of Officers for 2027 will also be held. \nSpeaker to be announced. \nThe meeting will be a hybrid meeting\, meaning you can choose to attend in person or via Zoom. Doors for in person attendees will open at 12:30 pm while the live Zoom session will commence at 1:00 pm ET. SUMMARY:Loop Road Winter NABA Butterfly Count 2026
DESCRIPTION:Come join us on our 2nd annual Loop Road/Pinecrest NABA Count on Saturday\, November 14th\, 2026. \nThere will be two teams\, meeting at different starting points as follows. \nTeam #1\, led by Dennis Olle will meet at the Oasis Visitors Center (52105 Tamiami Trail) at 8:45 am. The team will then work their way East\, making several stops including Clyde Butcher’s Big Cypress Gallery\, Midway Campground and various other points along the Tamiami Canal. We probably will not stop at the Jetport (now Alligator Alcatraz)\, ending up at the 40-mile bend.
