Calderon Pineland, Power to Care Event

The Calderon Pineland Restoration Project, Florida Power & Light Power to Care Event, will be held on Wednesday, March 8th from 9:00 am to Noon.
Come join more than 100 volunteers and employees from FP&L, EEL, NABA and the Miami Blue Chapter, plus County and City officials.
FP&L will provide snack and lunch, port-a-john, woodchipper, safety glasses, and release forms/registration for participants. EEL will provide work gloves, water, wheelbarrows, and tents and tables.
This is an exciting opportunity to get some work done and to educate the public about pine rocklands, native plants, butterflies and other creatures who live at Calderon. It is also a great way to acknowledge a major donor (FP&L) for their support!
