Key Largo Hammocks State Botanical Site Birding

Brian Rapoza of the Tropical Audubon Society (TAS) will lead this half-day trip to the largest remaining tract of coastal tropical hardwood hammock in the Florida Keys on Saturday, May 6th, 2023.

Meet at 6:30am at the Cracker Barrel restaurant at US 1 and Palm Drive in Florida City (GPS: 25.449166, -80.476029). Bring water and insect repellant. There is an entrance fee to the botanical site. Lunch at a Key Largo restaurant follows the trip.
