$3.Hold the date for the annual Pinecrest (Loop Road) NABA count Saturday, July 21.
Loop Road is one of the most enchanting areas in South Florida that we survey butterflies for NABA. Come join us on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 8:30 am. We meet at the eastern end of Loop Road where it intersects with the Tamiami Trail (SW 8th Street). and is approximately 40 minutes west of Krome Avenue. We will car pool from this location in air conditioned cars!! We drive for a short duration, stop and survey the road side, then continue this routine. We plan to finish around 5 pm, but if you can’t make it the whole day, that is fine.
Bring water, a bag lunch, snacks, bug spray and sun screen. Binoculars and a camera are helpful.
There is a $3. fee which goes to NABA.
