MIami Blue Chapter Meeting Sunday, May 6, 2018

Primary Talk and Speaker:  Conservation, Faunal Changes and the Exchange of Butterflies between Florida and Cuba presented by Marc Minno

Marc Minno is a visiting Lepidopterist from Gainsville who has spent years studying Florida and Cuban butterflies and who has authored many books.  . In addition to his talk, we will have a question and answer period.  This is a rare treat for our Chapter.

Guest speaker: Douglas Fernandez on the Butterflies of Cuba

Douglas Fernandez is a noted naturalist from Cuba who has published numerous articles on Cuban butterflies.  He is working on field guides to Cuban butterflies and wildflowers.

The meeting will start at 1 pm, Sunday, May 6.

Come early to share your snacks and conversation. You are invited to bring finger food to add to the refreshment table.  Drinks, ice, cups, toothpicks and napkins will be provided.

We are meeting at Castellow Hammock, 22301 SW 162 Avenue in the Redland.
