Join the Miami Blue Chapter for one of our annual NABA Counts at Shark Valley. This is a magnificent time of year to visit the wilderness of Shark Valley. We usually find butterflies not seen elsewhere in South Florida. Meet in the Shark Valley Visitors Center parking lot at 9 am. We will walk the western side searching for the rare Berry’s Skipper which has been seen there in the past. We will then drive to L67 to search for Palmetto and Palatka Skippers. Come walk with experts to learn new butterflies.
Bring long sleeved shirts and pants and hat for sun protection and possibly mosquitoes; water, a bag lunch and binoculars.
