NOAA 2023 Transformational Habitat Restoration
and Coastal Resilience Grant application 

Our President, Dennis Olle, wrote on behalf of the Miami Blue Chapter of the North American Butterfly Association, in support of Miami-Dade County’s NOAA 2023 Transformational Habitat Restoration and Coastal Resilience Grant application.

This application envisions the use of grant funds to backfill a section of the Goulds Canal in southern Miami-Dade County, which would reduce the distribution of contaminants into adjacent coastal waters and habitats, including the Biscayne Bay Coastal Wetlands.
