MIAMI BLUE CHAPTER August meeting, Sunday Aug. 5, 2018

Our August meeting will be at Castellow Hammock on Sunday, August 5 beginning at 1 pm. Our speaker will be Jennifer Possley who works for Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden as a field biologist. Her program will be “Butterflies and beyond – a botanist’s view of butterflies, moths and their host plants in Miami-Dade County preserves”.
The meeting will begin at 1 pm. Come early to seek local butterflies.
You are invited to add to the refreshment table. Finger food is preferred. Drinks, ice, cups, and napkins are provided. Refreshments will begin at 12:45.
There will also be a plant raffle featuring native butterfly host and nectar plants of south Florida.
