Schaus’ Swallowtail Butterfly Monitoring Training

Schaus’ Swallowtail surveys in Key Largo are presently being scheduled. If you would like to join us, you will need to attend a pre-season training meeting.  It is being held at 7 PM on Thursday, March 24 at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park.  We are looking for volunteers to commit at least 1 day per week between early April and late June to help Search for the endangered Schaus’ Swallowtail Butterfly in North Key Largo.  It is lots of fun walking in the beautiful hardwood hammock with many very interesting fellow participants.
